Phoebe Dynevor from Bridgerton uses the Green Rider in her film More Flames about the climate crisis and #flipthescript.

Our mission is to use our

influence for good

Actors have huge influence - both as public storytellers and changemakers within their own industry.

When actors lead by example, they can encourage new norms on set that are cleaner, greener and fairer for all. They also signal to their audiences that sustainability isn't about 'giving things up', but can be accessible, exciting and aspirational.

This has the power to change the public narrative on climate - from doom and fear to possibility and agency.

Till now, actors’ status has been measured by who gets the most ‘perks’, like oversized trailers, free merch and even private jets.

Our Mission.

Green Rider is here to flip this script: the 'bigger' you are as an artist, the more power you have to promote healthier ways of working and demonstrate climate action to the rest of the world.

We are building a movement of actors ready to play their part.

We envision a TV & Film industry where...

Upgrading to cleaner, greener and fairer ways of working is no longer seen as activism, but becomes the norm.

1 .

The screen industry is organised around human wellbeing, a fair deal for workers and harmony with the natural world.

2 .

We transform from long-standing traditions of needless waste and consumption, to being a role model for other industries to follow.

3 .

Status is not measured by how many resources you consume, but your contribution to a fair and healthy world for future generations.

4 .

Power and resources are shared fairly, so that star culture no longer allows for bullying, sexual harassment or overconsumption.

5 .
